About

Trupa Cortex was formed 4 years ago, when the band's members realized that their shared passion for music and for the same musical genres could become the driving force behind any successful event. Trupa Cortex set out to open the doors of any private or corporate event, and any wedding, christening, or anniversary party, with pop, rock, blues, rock'n'roll, latino, reggae, reinterpreted folklore, and music both new and old from the international as well as the Romanian repertoire — evergreens loved by everyone and for all ages, appealing to the widest possible audience. The band's line-up is: Bogdan Popescu - guitar, Gabriel Cîmpeanu - guitar, Marin Androne - bass, Matei Șerbulea - drums, Aura Sova - lead vocals. Trupa Cortex's concerts and live music create human interaction — which we all need so much; improvisation — which makes every artistic moment unique and original; emotion — sitting on the border between nostalgia and the present, carrying the audience from one mood to another through diversity; and, last but not least, energy, which means total dedication.
